For example take one of our best known wines, the Lambrusco Terre Verdiane<\/a>, which has 11% of alcohol, and an average glass (ranging from 100 ml of a wine glass to the 150 which we would pour at home) of 120 ml (122.4 grams) we will have therefore 94 calories of alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sugar not developed in wine is negligible in this calorie count: if you really want to be accurate, you could round it up slightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The calculation gives reassuring results: no more caloric than an extra bite, a glass of wine can therefore be a legitimate complement to a balanced diet – where moderation is important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beneficial properties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only that: it is a widespread opinion among doctors, nutritionists and dieticians to add it precisely for its beneficial qualities in terms of vitamins, mineral salts and, in the case of red wine, polyphenols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them resveratrol stands out, recently it made headlines for its antioxidant and anticancer properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the amount of resveratrol in a glass of wine is not high, we can without doubt support its positive contribution in the context of a healthy diet and lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
